1949 – 1970 : Brought up in Dosakayalapalli, matriculated from Dosakayalapalli Zillah Parishad School, Graduated from Ramachandrapuram Town and completed Education by doing B.Sc.

1971 – 1972 : Secured Job in State Bank of India as Clerk and worked in Hyderabad Head Office for 1 year.

1973 – 1983 : Worked as Clerk in State Bank of India, Innespeta Branch, and Rajahmundry for 10 years.

1984 – 1995 : Worked in Various posts as given below in various branches in and around Hyderabad.

	SBI, Karwan Branch, Hyderabad for 2 years as Head Cashier ( 1984-1985 ).
	SBI, Old MLA Quarters Branch, Hyderabad for 3 years as Head Cashier (1986-1988).
	SBI, Nalgonda Branch, Hyderabad for 2 years as Field Officer ( 1989-1990).

After rendering 22 years of responsible, efficient, effective, sincere and hardworking services in State Bank of India, Sri Cherukuri Rama Rao decided to opt for Voluntary Retirement Scheme with an intention to serve the Public through Private Business Establishments. With this sincere and honest intentions established CHERUKURI GROUP in the year 1994 itself and ventured into various fields like Real Estates, Jewellery, Advertising and Schools.

The Group, which was started on 26th January, 1994 completed successfully 10 years in Customers service and satisfaction by 2004 and celebrated 10th Anniversary Celebrations recently.

BEYOND BUSINESS - SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

Sri Cherukuri Rama Rao stood first when the situation demanded in helping the needy by donations and direct participation in Charity activities. His intentions being that if we help humanity, God will help us. In other words strongly believed “ Service to Humanity is Service to God ”. In this context did and is still doing similar activities.

In order to do this work more effectively Sri Cherukuri Rama Rao has formed “ CHERUKURI CHARITABLE TRUST “. Through this trust the following activities have been conducted by Sri Cherukuri Rama Rao.

	Contributed donation for constructing building for the Retired Government Employees in Vanasthalipuram.
	Contributed donation for constructing building for the Shri Shiridi Sai Baba Temple, Venkateswara temple and many other temples in Vanasthalipuram and Dosakayalapalli.
	Contributed donation for constructing a classroom for the Government Elementary School building for the students in Vanasthalipuram.
	Providing drinking water facility to the people of Dosakayalapalli Village by installing bore and pumps permanently.
	Honored 900 prominent personalities including local artists, social workers, writers, musicians, singers and others till date in various meetings.
	Contributed to various free medical camps, blood donation camps, eye camps in Vanasthalipuram, Dosakayalapalli Village.
	A free Old age for the aged people is under way for construction on the High Way of Vijayawada with an intention to serve the old people.
